Children experiencing difficulties are a core part of what we do.  Considering children in the context of their family, school and social environment allows for a thorough exploration and assessment of any contributing factors to a child’s concerns.  

Sessions are conducted with the child who is experiencing difficulties, and parents and siblings are invited to be a part of the initial therapy appointment. It’s important to gain an understanding of both parent’s concerns and the ways they have already tried to help their child. 

Where appropriate, (and with written consent obtained), we will also liaise with the child’s school. We work with primary and secondary age children.
